Our Story

Rooted in Scandinavian simplicity and inspired by the English country side, Mere&Sol was born. Each candle is made to bring a sense of calm and grounding to everyday spaces.

What began as an experiment, a search between beauty, sustainability, and craft, became a slow practice of care. Every scent, every vessel, every pour is chosen with intention. No shortcuts, no imitation - Just honest material and time. 

 Each candle is hand-poured by the sea in Hove, UK, using a natural blend of coconut and rapeseed wax. Clean, renewable, and kind to both home and earth. 

Our fragrances are vegan, cruelty-free, and thoughtfully composed to evoke feeling rather than overwhelm. 

Mere&Sol is about more than scent. It's about ritual, the warmth that makes your home feel alive again. 

We chose coconut and rapeseed wax because it feels right. For the craft, for the air you breathe, and for the world we share. 

Unlike paraffin, which is derived from petroleum, or soy, which is often linked to deforestation, our blend comes from gentle, renewable crops grown here in Europe. It burns cleaner, slower, and releases fragrance in a soft, natural way - Never cloying or heavy. 

Coconut brings a creamy, even burn; rapeseed gives strength and stability.
Together they create a wax that feels as pure as the light it gives off. Smooth, steady, and kind. 

Every candle is a small choice toward better. Better for your home, and better for the planet.
